I am Virgita Barrantes Paniagua, a Real Estate Agent in Costa Rica with over 22 years of experience in sales and customer service, and a solid background in the Costa Rican real estate market. I am an expert in the Greece area, as well as Western Costa Rica and surrounding regions, where I have in-depth knowledge of local market values, dynamics, and opportunities.

My professional career began in commerce and administration, working as a supermarket administrator, which allowed me to develop strong skills in negotiation, personalized customer service, and commercial management. I later entered the real estate sector as a real estate advisor, working extensively with bank-owned properties, while receiving continuous training, conferences, and guidance directly from banking institutions.

I specialize in residential properties, both inside and outside gated communities, as well as all types of land lots, working primarily with national clients. My approach focuses on supporting decisive buyers and sellers, while also building long-term relationships based on trust and future real estate needs.

What I enjoy most about working in real estate is the close, personal guidance I provide to each client. I strongly believe that buying or selling a property should be handled with clear information, security, and peace of mind, especially when dealing with important financial and family decisions. I am known for my human-centered approach, consistent follow-up, and the patience required to truly understand each client’s needs.

Clients frequently highlight my responsibility, the clarity with which I explain each step of the process, and the confidence I provide throughout negotiations. I work directly with real estate attorneys, notaries, and banking institutions, accompanying clients throughout the buying or selling process, with particular attention to key stages and closing.

Outside of my professional work, I deeply value spending time with my family, maintaining close relationships with friends, and creating moments of calm and personal balance. Living and working in Costa Rica is a privilege for me due to its peaceful environment, warm people, and strong human values, which also guide my professional approach.
